How do I know if online interior design services are right for me?
For those of you that are time poor or not able to have a designer come to your house, online interior design services are an easy option. If you are comfortable with online shopping and are motivated to action the design plan we put together from start to finish then this is the service for you.
How long will it take to get my final presentation packages?
Once our questionnaire has been filled out, along with room measurements submitted, you can expect to have the design package uploaded to your portal in 2 weeks.
How can we re-design your property without seeing it or meeting you personally?
As long as the measurements for the room(s) are correct and the questionnaire has been filled out with all your design goals for the space, we can create a beautiful design using the latest technology. Feel free to include photos of the room as well.
Can some of my existing furniture pieces be incorporated in the design plan?
Of course! Existing furniture pieces can be incorporated into the designs. Personalising a home is what we are all about at Lilyburn Interiors.
If I have an open floor plan and two rooms are combined, which room do I select first?
This is a great question. If you have two adjoining rooms that transition into one big space, we suggest doing both rooms at the same time. It is so important to create good flow in a space and it may be difficult to achieve a seamless look if not done together.
Do you work within the budget given to spend on the plan you’ve designed?
We can certainly work to your budget. Once you fill in the information in our questionnaire prior to designing, we can work within your budget, for sure.
Will I be able to purchase the items directly?
We offer a range of different packages to choose from in creating your updated space. We can put together a shopping list and you can purchase directly. If you opt for our Full Service Package we can manage the ordering for you and have items shipped directly to your door.
Will you make changes to my plan if I don’t like something you’ve selected?
You can certainly make changes if there is something you would like to change. Depending on the service level ordered, there can be one or two revisions made upon request. We want you to be happy with your design.
Once I have my plan, how am I able to ask follow-up questions?
After you receive your design package you have 15-45 days support (depending on which service level was ordered.) Access is through our project portal. After this time if you have additional questions we are able to offer an hourly fee consultation.
What happens if I wait to purchase an item, and then it’s no longer available?
We do suggest making all recommended purchases straight away. Like fashion, furniture & homewares change and there are no guarantees items will still be available in 6 months. In most cases a substitute can be found and we will assist with the change.
