Welcome to our journey to create two beautiful homes bayside in Manly West, Brisbane, Queensland. Having built our dream home before and renovated many times, this is our opportunity to create two beautiful homes for other families to love.
This is the start of our collaboration with a project building Company. Having never worked with a project builder before we are keen to create two beautiful homes with some unique features whilst staying within budget, (and within the confines of materials selections available to us by the builder. Not an easy task, that’s for sure!)
A double block has been purchased and lucky for us it had two titles on it, so no need for subdivision. On the down side however, the blocks are 405m2 with very narrow street frontage (total 17m2) so needless to stay we have had some design challenges from the outset. We’ll build one house at a time. The first is a 5 bed, 3 bath home with a pool in a Coastal Farmhouse style. The second… mmm, still thinking about that. Maybe it’ll be a Scandi style vibe…
